The Leigh Sakoda Foundation

A memorial fund named in honor of Leigh Ashley Sakoda, who died at age 34 from a rare and aggressive cancer. The Foundation’s mission is to inspire research, improve diagnostics, and provide treatment options for young women facing rare cancer

Leigh’s life was filled with strength, courage, and compassion for others, and it is this spirit which inspires The Leigh Sakoda Foundation to provide hope and healing for all young women fighting rare cancer with poor prognosis.

Supporting Women Most In Need

Patients and families frequently need help paying for medical bills, diagnostics, prescription drugs, and other related expenses in the fight for life. The Foundation seeks to support those most in need who carry the strength, courage, and compassion for others as embodied in the life of Leigh Sakoda.

The Leigh Sakoda Foundation works directly with  non-profit organizations, leading cancer research institutes, and hospitals to ensure that 100% of the proceeds go to directly to young women who are fighting rare and aggressive cancer and are in need of financial support.
